n The Major Film Notions, I gave courtesy to numerous
visionary Cinematographers and visual artists who sculpted multi dimensional views
of the image. In writing now about contemporary documentary scenario, I find it
far more advantageous and authentic to looking for Chris marker’s narrative concepts
rather than cult documentaries and to build an over- all understanding of filming
based on political ground and its relativity in narration.  particularly I am interested to explore to Chris
marker’s historical perception, character representation, self signification
and his notorious privacy, sources of adaptation, identification of social
criticism and author’s interpretation on. Why have these elements emanated to influence
our experimental filmmaking? More important, why has a voice over technique
based on such contemplative concepts controlled verbal narration, how it is
indirectly overshadowed the theory of “Image standalone”.
